What does it take to be a good pickleball player?

  • Solid Fundamentals: Strong players have a solid foundation of pickleball skills, including proper grip, efficient footwork, accurate shots, and consistent ball control.

  • Strategy and Tactics: A good player understands the game's strategy and employs it effectively. This includes shot selection, court positioning, understanding the opponents' weaknesses, and adapting the game plan as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Good players are committed to improving their skills and knowledge of the game. They seek opportunities for practice, receive feedback from coaches or peers, and strive to learn new techniques and strategies.
